These are our Footy bookmarks: the sources we relied on as we built and sailed our first Footys. They provide the general know-how needed for model yachting and the specific information required to construct and sail the Footy. General know-how includes instruction in the craft of r/c model yacht building; methods for acquiring model yacht sailing skills; texts of the protocols of r/c model yacht racing; and strategies for locating mentors and local model yacht resources. Footy-specific information includes Footy design rules; sources for Footy plans, kits, sail-ready models, building materials, "bits" and tools; the expertise of Footy artisans and skippers (the online Footy community); and online announcements of Footy regattas.
